I still can't quite grasp the fact that school has already started. I'm still in that I'm-so-lazy-still-wanna-stay-up-late kinda phase. As you know, first week of school just ended for me, and it feels like my classes haven't really started on the important stuff yet. I still need to get my hands on used books, but it's just so hard to find one. This semester, I'm taking up Math, Psychology, Interpersonal Communication (phew...that's a mouthful), and P.E.(I know, I know..why am I taking PE when I'm majoring in Nursing. Well, sad to say, it's a requirement. I'm actually taking Aerobics..not the ordinary PE.). All of my classes are requirements for Nursing. Anyways, I did have fun in some of my classes because my friends were there (we talked about our schedules and took the same classes!!). So far, my classes show no signs of difficulty. Maybe, this semester I won't have a hard time....except maybe for MATH!! I had a few arguments with my mom because I found out that I only have 10 units/credits/hours in total, and I never realized till it was too late. She did lecture and scolded me a little because I had to be a full time student to get into her insurance, and full time here is 12 units max. So, yeah I thought of registering for one more class, but it was too late. Final registrations were due days ago. I guess I'll just have to wait what the results are going to be. First week of this semester was a bit fast. I saw new and old faces. MORE PEOPLE!!!! it's so crowded in that school. They actually call that place PCP (park...class..park) get it? it's where people go and park..take their class..and just leave. It's not really a campus. It's more like an office building with empty rooms fit for 30+ people. The good thing here is that people care. Unlike universities, most people don't care if you pass or not, go to class or not, do your projects and homeworks or not, take your test or not. Here, they monitor you. Help you in every way possible in order to pass the class. I know it can be a little bit invasive, but it helps sometimes. Community colleges are like that here, and there a lot cheaper with the same quality of education you can find in a university. I know, I know that one day I'm also going to transfer to a 4 year university, but I can't help thinking that some of the professors in my class were actually professors in previous universities. Anyways, why in the world am I getting to this topic?? I should be just talking about my first week. I guess that wraps it up. I'm out of words now. I'm just thinking that I'm so bored maybe I should get out and go to the mall or something. So...that's it I guess
